The Punchbowl is part of the heart and soul of Churchtown, near Garstang. Historically, our pub’s known as the ‘Covered Cup’, because we’re just a few doors away from the church.
But with such a wonderful location near the winding River Wye, and such a fine reputation for our food and hospitality, we’re welcoming visitors from far and wide (we’re only a few minutes from the M6, Garstang and Lancaster).
Our small village is tucked away on the edges of Garstang, just off the A6. We’re also within easy reach of the M6 motorway, Lancaster and Preston and have plenty of parking for our guests. Enjoy a drive out into the country, take a stroll around our picturesque village, enjoy the surrounding countryside and join us for a lazy lunch or dinner!
“A good local pub has much in common with a church, except that a pub is warmer, and there’s more conversation.”
